Place a deep frying pan (saucepan) on the stove. Pour 0.5 l there sunflower oil. You need a lot of oil. Better pour more. On my Electrolux stove I set the heat to 7 out of 9.

While the oil is boiling, take 5-7 pieces of chicken that are in the sauce and throw them into the bag. Shake the chicken in the bag so it coats with our mixture. One package was enough for me 2 times, after which I made another with the same mixture.

Throw the chicken pieces into the almost boiling oil. It's good if the oil completely covers the chicken. If not, it’s better to crush it with a fork. I did this: the chicken was fried for 3 minutes, then I turned it over with a spatula, after another 3 minutes I closed the lid for 2 minutes, then took it out. While one portion of chicken is fried, shake another portion in the bag.

900 g of chicken is 4 servings of 6 pieces. If you do everything correctly and do not overcook, you will get exactly the same crust as in KFC Rostiks - with flakes and very voluminous.

The taste of the breading needs to be carefully selected, experiment with herbs - perhaps you will be able to get a better taste than in Rostix.

Pieces of chicken fillet, breaded in flour and spices, taste very much like chicken strips from KFC. In general, for breading you need to use corn flakes, of course, not sweet ones. But often store shelves only offer honeyed or frosted flakes, which are unsuitable. In this case, flour will do - the meat will turn out juicy, in a tender, slightly crispy crust. The set of spices can be anything, you can take ready-made ones or use a mixture of spices that you have at home (several types of pepper, paprika, coriander, dried crushed garlic).

Ingredients

  • 350 g chicken fillet
  • 0.5 tsp. ground paprika
  • 0.5 tsp. ground coriander
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. corn flour
  • 0.5 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 0.3 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 30 ml vegetable oil

Preparation

1. The entire process of frying strips takes very little time. They can be prepared for unexpected guests or at the end of a hard day, when you want to satisfy your hunger quickly and tasty. You need to use chicken fillet, as it is whole, low-fat and without veins. Cut the breast into long (4-5 cm) thin strips.

2. In a bowl, mix corn flour, salt and spices - ground coriander, black and red pepper, paprika. If you don't like spicy meat, you don't have to add red pepper.

3. Place the chicken strips in a bowl with spices and stir until the flour, spices and salt evenly coat the chicken. Let stand for 10 minutes.

4. Heat in a frying pan vegetable oil and carefully, one by one, send the chicken pieces there. Make the fire medium. As soon as a toasted golden crust forms on the bottom of the strips, they need to be turned over to the other side with a spatula, and after another 3 minutes, stir again.
