Starting from 08/09/2016, QAZKOM cardholders will have access to 2 schemes for using 3D Secure and Secure Code passwords:

- dynamic– the payment is confirmed by a code sent as an SMS to the client’s trusted number. The service is available only to clients with trusted numbers;

- static– the client will need to indicate the 3D password he has set to confirm the payment.

IMPORTANT! All 3D Secure/Secure Code passwords set before09.08.2016 not valid!

3D Secure or SecureCode is a password required for secure Internet payments. When paying for a purchase in an online store that supports this technology, You will be prompted to enter your 3D Secure/SecureCode password.

This operation is similar to entering a PIN code at an ATM. This way, only you will be able to use the card to pay online. With 3D Secure/SecureCode technology, online shopping becomes more secure.

Internet passwords 3D Secure / Secure Code are mandatory for Visa and MasterCard payment cards issued by Kazkommertsbank JSC.

When making purchases online, as a final confirmation of payment, you will be redirected to a special page with a form for entering a 3DSecure password (if your card is VISA) or SecureCode (if your card is MasterCard) with a request to enter your secret password.

You will be offered 2 options:
- confirmation of payment with a temporary password sent as SMS to a trusted number;
- confirmation of payment using a password you set up yourself through Homebank.

After you enter your secret password, in a few seconds you will be identified and the payment will be confirmed.

Attention: this instruction is relevant for Qazkom cardholders. Cardholders of other banks should contact their card issuing bank.
Setting a password for online payments is very simple and does not take much time.

1. Log in to the Homebank.kz portal
2. Go to the “Payment Cards” section, select the desired card and go to the card settings or click on the 3D Secure / Secure Code shortcut
3. Click the "Continue" button
4. You will receive an SMS with a transaction confirmation code, enter this code in the window that appears
5. After SMS confirmation, you will be provided with a primary key in the form of a sequence of numbers.
6. Click Next
7. On the page in the new window that opens, indicate the number of the card you have chosen and click the “activate” button.
8. Select the authentication method - 3DSecure and click the "Continue" button
9. Specify the card expiration date, CVV/CVC and primary key received from Homebank and click “Next”
10. Fill in the fields “Username” (name on the card), 3DSecure/SecureCode password, personal greeting, as well as e-mail and phone number
Congratulations! Your password for online purchases has been set. Remember it and use it every time you make an online payment.

IMPORTANT! The card whose data you indicate on the form in the seventh step must match the card selected in the second step. If the data does not match, setting the password will fail.
