Correct formatting of English homework plays an important role in grading. Every student at a university, private or public school should be able to do this correctly. Teachers teach rules for writing homework from elementary school. But many people don’t attach much importance to this, so they forget and start looking for translations on the Internet or make ridiculous mistakes.

Writing Instructions

1. The number must be written in the middle of the line.
2. If the page is blank, start writing on the top line.
3. If there are already entries on the English notebook page, indent 2 lines or 4 cells, depending on the type of notebook.
4. The date is indicated as follows: day of the week, day, month

Example: Friday, the 13th of September, where 10th is a shortened form of tenth.

Translation: Friday, 13th (thirteenth) September.

Sometimes the writing of the date is simplified and written like this: the 13th of September.

Translation: September 13 (thirteenth).

1. After the date, the type of work is indicated in writing:
