We give them Pirogov the minimum passing score. Russian National Research Medical University named after. n.i. Pirogov (Rim named after Pirogov)

One of the most authoritative research universities countries - Russian state medical university. Its history began in 1906, when the progressive public influenced the authorities’ decision to organize Moscow women’s courses. After some time, the courses were transformed, and the 2nd Moscow State University began its work, the medical faculty of which in 1930 became the basis for the creation of a medical institute, which in 1956 received the name of the great doctor N.I. Pirogov.

New time

Since the Russian State Medical University has long played a leading role as a scientific, medical, educational, methodological and treatment center of the country, in November 1991 medical school became a university, and in 2010 the only university of this profile received national status research university.

In 2011, the name was renamed again - in connection with the receipt of a new status. Now it is called the Russian National Research University named after N.I. Pirogov.

Museum

Everything that happened to this educational institution for such a long time (more than a century!) can be found out in detail in the university museum, which was organized in 1981. A visit to the Museum of History of the Russian National Research Medical University is a most interesting pastime; students and applicants eagerly study the exhibition dedicated to the most different periods activities of the university. The museum is located in the main building of the university at the address: Moscow, Ostrovityanova Street, building 1, on the fourth floor.

In it you can trace the entire history of domestic medicine and even the entire development of the country, because the Russian State Medical University, throughout its activity, shared life’s vicissitudes, hardships, wars, revolutions, participated in the same achievements and suffered the same losses, sharing life with the country in all its manifestations, which will be discussed very briefly below. There are so many historical details of the very long life of the university in the museum that even a book would be too small for them.

Milestones

In May, back in 1872, Count D. A. Tolstoy, being the Minister of Public Education, agreed to the opening of the Moscow Higher Women's Courses. This private educational institution has been approved by special regulations. Thus, on November 1, in the building of the men's gymnasium on Volkhonka, the country's first courses for women, taught by Professor V. I. Gerye, were inaugurated. There were at least seventy students in the first year of study, and by 1885 their number had grown to two hundred and fifty.

At first, female students studied for two years, but in 1879 a new charter was written, and the classes were extended for another year. The focus of the Moscow courses, from which the Russian State Medical University later grew, was historical and philological; female students studied general and Russian history, world and Russian literature, the history of civilization and the history of art. Physics, mathematics, astronomy and hygiene, which were compulsory, were abolished in 1879, and in 1881 a new subject appeared - the history of philosophy.

Medicine

The courses operated on Volkhonka until 1873, then they moved to the Museum of Applied Knowledge - on Prechistenka, and in 1877 they began to study in a building built specifically as a polytechnic museum. And only in 1906 the next charter of the MVZhK appeared, which stipulated the opening of a new faculty - medical. By that time, the first one - historical and philosophical - had already been added to physics and mathematics.

Now the courses really became the basis on which the Russian State Medical University was built. In September 1906, the first lecture was held at the new faculty, and in 1908 it opened for female medical students, which later became the anatomical building of the 2nd Moscow Medical Institute. In the spring of 1912, the very first graduation of the first female doctors in Russia took place. There were not many of them yet - no more than two hundred people.

After the revolution

In October 1918, the Collegium of the People's Commissariat of Education established the transformation of higher women's courses into the 2nd State University, a mixed educational institution. There were still three faculties in the newly-minted university, the same ones, but two years later a scientific society was opened at the Faculty of Medicine. In 1921, medical students organized a commission to combat child homelessness and hunger and opened an orphanage with their own funds.

In July 1926, the Faculty of Medicine already held a meeting to select its first graduate students, after which scientific works on medical topics began to periodically appear in print: in 1928, two issues of scientific articles of the Faculty of Medicine were published. And in 1930, the People's Commissariat of Education issued an order by which the university was reorganized into three completely independent institutes. It is not the Russian State Medical University (RGMU) that has appeared yet, but its prototype - the 2nd Moscow

Independence

In 1930, the faculty was again reorganized into a medical and preventive faculty, and in addition, a second one was opened nearby. Or rather, the first, the very first in the country and in the entire world practice! It was the Faculty of Maternity, Infancy and Childhood. The future Russian State Medical University of Roszdrav continued to grow. In December 1932, another faculty was opened - medical and physical education.

True, after two years it closed, and the other two faculties were renamed medical and pediatric. But at the same time a new - general medical - theoretical faculty was created. In March 1935, the SSS was created - a student scientific society that still exists. And then it included sixteen thematic circles. A year later there were two faculties again - the general medical one was abolished.

Pre-war time

Medical students never left public work for the benefit of the capital and the country, showing extremely useful initiatives. Thus, in 1938, students of the institute carried out, for the first time in the country, a preventive examination of the entire population of an entire Moscow region, and not the smallest one at that. The population of the Khamovnichesky district was registered with medical authorities.

In March 1939, by order of the People's Commissar of Defense, a military faculty was formed at the medical institute, which existed until 1944, supplying military doctors to all fronts of the Great Patriotic War. With the outbreak of war, a huge part of the institute’s staff, professors, teachers and students left as volunteers. In October 1941, some of the remainder were evacuated and worked and studied in Omsk until 1943.

Post-war time

In 1948, honorary academician N.F. Gamaleya, a student of Mechnikov and Pasteur, gave his first assembly speech within the walls of the future Pirogov Russian State Medical University. The topic was very relevant - “Microbacterium tuberculosis”. In 1954, the Central Research Laboratory for Basic Medical Research began experiments.

Professors and students continued to participate in all endeavors and help the achievements that took place in the country. In 1956, the institute was awarded the medal "For the development of virgin lands", and the following year it was named after Nikolai Ivanovich Pirogov, the great anatomist and surgeon of Russia. In the sixties, an evening faculty with pediatric and medical departments and a medical and biological faculty appeared.

Moving and new achievements

In 1965, the USSR Council of Ministers donated fifteen thousand square meters of educational and laboratory buildings to the institute in the South-West of Moscow, so far without design or construction, but all this was not far off, because this university was extremely valuable for the country. In 1966, he was awarded the Order of Lenin for his outstanding services.

Another faculty appeared in 1968. Here teachers improved their qualifications. It still exists. In 1977, a new faculty of advanced training for doctors was opened. In subsequent years, on the basis of the medical institute, pulmonology and physical and chemical medicine were created, which served as educational, research and production, that is, medical complexes.

Renaming

In November 1991, the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR transformed the 2nd MOLGMI named after. N.I. Pirogov to the Russian State Medical University. It continued to grow: pre-university training was opened at a separate faculty, then, by order of the mayor of Moscow, a Moscow faculty was created to staff the capital's clinics and outpatient clinics. The Faculty of Clinical Psychology and all others included in the list below are opening.

The Russian State Medical University receives a lot of help and support from the government. Moscow willingly takes advantage of the space created to expand creative and scientific boundaries in education. The university still actively participates in organizing and holding all kinds of medical forums, exhibitions, and conferences, promoting metropolitan medicine to an ever higher level.

One of fifteen

Now the Russian State Medical University of Roszdrav becomes the largest medical university in the country and one of the largest in Europe. More than nine thousand students study here at one time in one hundred and thirty-five academic departments. The composition of professors and teachers is more than one thousand two hundred people on staff.

The internship trains two hundred doctors annually, and the residency program trains more than seven hundred doctors in thirty-six specialties. There are five hundred and fifty graduate students - doctors, biologists and chemists. And this was not the last renaming. The best university in its field is Russian State Medical University. Pirogov - became a national and research, basic university with a special development program until 2019. There are only fifteen of these in the country.

History of RNRMU buildings

Due to the increase in the number of students of the 2nd Moscow State Medical Institute named after. N.I. Pirogov and the lack of premises in the building on Pirogovka (Kholzunov Lane), in September 1965 the USSR Council of Ministers authorized the design and construction of educational and laboratory buildings of the institute with a total area of 15,000 m² in the South-West of Moscow.

A new institute building with a laboratory building (TsNIL) was built on the right bank of the Ochakovka River (now enclosed in a pipe) on the site of the Bogorodskoye estate that was once located here (the old trees of the park at the estate still remain here). On the site of residential buildings in the village of Bogorodskoye there are now multi-storey residential buildings (Akademika Bakulev St. - Ostrovityanova St. - Leninsky Prospekt). There was a village called Bogorodskoye-Voronino on the territory of Moscow, on the Ochakovka River. The huts stood on the left bank, where the buildings of house 123, listed on Leninsky Prospekt, are now. And on the right bank there was a church, an estate and a park with a pond. Now from the Bogorodskoye-Voronino estate Only the remains of the park have been preserved, and in its place stands the Russian State Medical University. In 2014, the Expert RA agency included the university in the list of the best higher educational institutions of the Commonwealth of Independent States, where it was assigned a rating class of “D”.

Structure

Faculty of Medicine

Dean of the Faculty: Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Anton Sergeevich Dvornikov.

The Faculty of Medicine of RNRMU provides knowledge and practical skills in more than 50 medical specialties. In the diplomas of graduates of the Faculty of Medicine it is written: “doctor-generalist”. But to get a higher diploma medical education, we have to go through a long and very difficult path.

The study is divided into several stages. The first is pre-graduate and the second is post-graduate training. In the initial courses, students study the basic disciplines that they later need in the clinic: these are biology, physics, chemistry, anatomy, histology and a number of others, as well as Latin and foreign languages (English, French, German), philosophy, economic theory, physical culture...

The most difficult is the third year, when everyone once again actually decides for themselves the main question: did they choose the right profession, and can they withstand such a load until the end of their studies at a medical university? In the third year, operative surgery and topographic anatomy, pathological anatomy and pathological physiology, pharmacology and many more difficult disciplines. The summer exam session in the third year is considered the most difficult.

Senior courses are already the foundation of the basic knowledge and skills of the future doctor. It is precisely these courses that include serious practice in clinics: as nurse, physician assistant.

During your studies, your knowledge will be tested not only during exam sessions, but also during the semester. These include various test tasks, solving situational problems, difficult colloquiums, seminars, and laboratory work.

The glory of the medical faculty was made by the great representatives of medicine - S.I. Spasokukotsky, P.E. Lukomsky, I.V. Davydovsky, B.S. Preobrazhensky, E.I. Martsinovsky, V.A. Gilyarovsky, A.I.

But to get a diploma of higher medical education, you have to go through a long and very difficult path.

In the third year, operative surgery and topographic anatomy, pathological anatomy and pathological physiology, pharmacology and many more difficult disciplines are studied. The summer exam session in the third year is considered the most difficult.

Senior courses are already the foundation of the basic knowledge and skills of the future doctor. It is precisely these courses that include serious practice in clinics: as a nurse, a doctor’s assistant.
